Keep your organization's knowledge alive β year after year.
What would you like to do?
Turn off features your organization doesn't need. Hidden data is preserved if you turn a feature back on.
You'll lose access to this workspace's data. You can rejoin if you have the code.
This keeps your roles, recurring tasks, and budget categories β but clears occupants, resets task statuses, and zeros out spent amounts so you can start fresh.
Quick answers to common questions. Click any question to expand.
Any of these can be turned off if your organization doesn't use them. Only admins can change this, and the change applies to everyone in the workspace.
The tab will disappear from the nav and the corresponding stats will vanish from the dashboard. Roles can't be turned off β they're the foundation of every workspace.
If you change your mind later, just turn the feature back on. Any data you'd entered is still there.
Two ways:
Admins can do anything: add or delete any role, edit tasks and budget, manage settings, rotate the join code, and manage other members.
Members can:
Members cannot add or edit other people's roles, edit tasks or budget, change settings, rotate the join code, or remove other members.
The person who creates the workspace becomes the first admin automatically. Everyone who joins via code starts as a member.
The app matches members to roles by email address.
There are two paths:
Members can only edit roles where the email matches their own β they can't edit other people's roles. Admins can edit any role.
Only existing admins can promote others. Open β Settings β scroll to the People with access section. Each person has a Make admin button next to their name. Click it and confirm.
You can demote an admin back to member the same way (look for Demote). The system won't let you demote the last admin β there must always be at least one.
Before you click Leave workspace:
You can also promote multiple people if you want a smoother transition (e.g., promote both the incoming chair and vice-chair before stepping back).
Handoff Hub doesn't store files directly β instead, it links to files stored in your team's existing tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.). This keeps everything in one place and avoids version conflicts.
To attach a file:
You can paste multiple links, one per line.
At the end of your year/term, an admin can click + New year on the dashboard. This:
It's a one-click reset for the new year while keeping your structure intact.
Open β Settings β expand Leave this workspace at the bottom β click Leave workspace. You'll lose access immediately. You can rejoin later if you have the code.
If you're the only admin and there are other members, you'll need to promote someone to admin first (see "I'm leaving the board" above).
If you can't log in: try the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page. If you used Google to sign up, click Continue with Google instead.
If you can log in but don't see your workspace: an admin may have removed you, or your account email may not match what's in the workspace. Reach out to a current admin and ask them to re-invite you with the join code.
Yes, especially if they shared the code widely or you're concerned about who else might have it. An admin opens β Settings β click Generate new next to the join code. The old code stops working immediately. Existing members keep their access β only the code changes.
Then share the new code with current members.
Yes. Use the workspace switcher in the top-left of the nav (the dropdown next to "Handoff Hub"). To add another, click + Add organization, then either create a new workspace or join one with a code. Your role (admin or member) is independent in each workspace.
Just open the link in any phone browser β Handoff Hub works the same on phones as on desktop. There's no app to download.
For faster access, you can save it to your home screen so it opens like a real app:
Once added, the Handoff Hub icon lives on your home screen. Tap it and the app opens fullscreen with no browser bars in the way.
Tip: hover tooltips on tabs don't appear on phones (no hover state), but everything else works the same.
